"World-class beer without the jet lag"

Located in Burlington's vibrant South End, Queen City Brewery's tasting room offers classic beer styles in a comfortable pub setting.

Queen City Brewery opened in June 2014 and is located in a renovated warehouse in Burlington's historically industrial South End. With 14 taps available, our rotating beer list might include a delicate German lager, a robust Scottish winter warmer, a regional American specialty, an ancient monastic beer, an elegant English ale or a unique seasonal offering that's sure to please anyone who enjoys a fine glass of beer.

Paul Hale, (Brewmaster), Paul Held, and Phil Kaszuba are the Managing Partners of Queen City Brewery, founded in 2012. As long-time friends and home brewers with a fondness for traditional beer styles, QCB represents to us the culmination of nearly 30 years of recipe formulation and research (i.e., beer trips to Europe).

Lillian MacNamara is QCB's Head Brewer. Lillian started with us in 2014 after nearly a decade of experience in the craft brewing community, including brewer positions with Hop’n Moose Brewing Company, Magic Hat Brewing Company, Otter Creek Brewing Company, and Oregon Trail Brewery.

Jason Held is our Tasting Room Manager, providing friendly, knowledgable service behind our beautiful 50 year old mahogany bar.

Ben Gostanian is the Assistant Brewer at Queen City. Ben previously was an assistant brewer and jack-of-all-trades at Farnham Ale & Lager.

What's New at QCB

April 1, 2019-

Spring is upon us and we have lots to be excited about. Longer days, and a longer tap list! Some taproom favorites are back on draught: Munich Dunkel, Vienna Lager and Argument IPA were all recently tapped. Our silky smooth Barge Canal Oatmeal Extra Stout will be returning soon, too. Plus, we expect our amazing spring seasonal Mai Bock to be pouring by mid-April.

We are excited to announce the official opening of Queen City Brewery’s event room, located just down the hall from our taproom in the newly renovated space at 703 Pine Street. This beautiful room comfortably hosts up to 80 people and is perfect for parties, meetings, conferences, etc. Directly across the hall from the event space is the new Pizza 44 restaurant, a delicious and convenient option for catering your event.

EVENT SPACE at 703 Pine street

Our Event Space is open and ready to host your next gathering. Great for parties, meetings, conferences, you name it. Warmly lit and tastefully decorated with hundreds of pieces of breweriana, it’s a cozy and comfortable place to entertain up to 80 guests. Our interchangeable layout of tables and chairs allows the room to adapt to your event needs.

The room features a PA system, foosball table, dart board, bumper pool table, and garage-style doors to let the outside in, weather permitting. Option to grab Queen City beers and other drinks from down the hall in our taproom, or let our staff pour our beer in the room using our 8 tap draft system.

For catering, we suggest Pizza 44, a recently-opened wood-fire pizza restaurant located conveniently within a few feet of the room.
